For years world’s most talented people developed many services that make information more accessible. Then there was the revolution of blogging, social networks.
What is the result?
Now we experience information overload that leads to mental health problems, such as burnouts.
We are being constantly distracted by notifications and colourful pictures, and from not long ago - by vertical videos.

Besides, people can’t fully control what they want to explore - they are forcibly dived into artificial infobubbles that have strict borders.
In addition, learning something from information found in web is still very complex. Our bookmarks, watch later lists and “Favourites” are overfilled with things that we will never watch again.
They are like containers that people buy and never use.
We have been made too lazy that we even have forgotten how to search - AI feeds do this for us.
We have almost forgotten how to be The Explorers Of The World.

Is it time for the Metaverse...
Maybe everyone ever asked a question whether they need to exchange real life experiences to virtual ones.
But what if it’s not you who needs to go out of screen’s borders?
It’s the platforms, which need more and more of your attention. Not only your clicks, but also movements of your eyes, your emotions..?
They feel that they need to go behind the screen and use all of your eyesight. Deliver full immersion in their content.
But your device was made to help you in real life. It was meant to be an instrument.

It’s time for the Mindverse.
Artificial intelligence in its interaction with humans is one of the most discussed problems nowadays. We believe that they should exist in symbiosis.
AI can teach us to be real Humans.
This means that we should remember how to live consciously, developing our imagination to make the world better, switch focus to our psychology, solve mental traumas and give others help and empathy.
We are changemakers. And our lives are the main value.
We live in the world when you should run just to stay in place.
But is the brain, which we inherited from our ancestors who were in no particular hurry, ready for it?
Culture, education - everything prepared us for a life in a slow world, where there was enough time for idle curiosity and thoughtful reading of thick books. But the information explosion has made habitual programs of behaviour hopelessly obsolete. It is impossible to process the daily avalanche of information with the old methods. Where to get the resources to work on several projects simultaneously, or even in several places, as time demands? And how can you communicate with others when your friends, colleagues, and acquaintances are always around - a click away? And do you even need?
In general, our brains urgently need an upgrade. And this upgrade is the next big thing - the tool that will be like a shield to the information overload.
The tool that will reduce the pressure by having the same powers as the Web has.
We care about humanity and its future and are building Locus. This very instrument to make a new step in human evolution.
Linked knowledge is the next revolution in the Information Age.
You should own all the information and networks that you create. And have total control of it.
Due to our brains’ working mechanism, we have access to the long-term memory only via triggers that appear randomly as we live. When switching to the energy-independent second brain, you make triggers more clear, improve your memory, and what’s more, never forget anything. Your best friend is You. And you need to begin a deeper communication with him.
Some time ago there was a famous writer Niklas Luhmann who was extremely productive. During his life he wrote and published more than 70 books and over 400 articles on many subjects.
His success would not be achieved without his technique called Zettelkasten.
He used six stacks of wooden drawers where he kept short notes and cards with his ideas, connected by context. This allowed him to create a full vision of his thoughts and knowledge and analyse new connections between information.
Zettelkasten was his best friend and insight instrument. While reviewing the notes he had a direct conversation with his Inner world and mind.
We believe that this is the best tool that can make you better know yourself and solve many questions - from psychological to regular ones.
It is like your Diary (which is known to be the best practice for self-exploration) and a Second Brain.

There are many apps that are created to make you more productive and some of them involve Zettelkasten technique.
But are they intuitive?
Do they truly support your creative mind?
The reality shows that not fully.
What's more, they stop being useful when there's too much information in them. You just drown in notes and pages.
There is a great expression: “If you spend more time on setting up your tool than on using it, something is wrong.”
It finely describes things that happen with smart notes apps. Not only many of them are similar to each other, but also they are very complex andsometimes full of unuseful functions.

So, I'm building Locus - the instrument that fully unleashes your potential, lets you discover yourself, cope with traumas, work on projects and make your ideas come true.
I am also creating a community called Mindverse - for like-minded people who want to stay hungry and foolish:)
